The Delaware Association for Public Administration (DAPA) is a unique organization made up of Delawareans dedicated to the field of public administration and public service. We are the Delaware Chapter of American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) and the Delaware Association for Public Administration. We are one organization with two points of entry.
ASPA is a national professional organization dedicated to effectiveness in government and excellence in public service. ASPA’s mission is to be the leading public service organization that advances the art, science, teaching and practice of public and non-profit administration. Since 1939, ASPA has been the nation’s most respected society representing all forums in the public service arena. An ASPA membership includes one, no-cost chapter membership. By selecting Delaware as your chapter, you become a member of DAPA. In 1973, DAPA assumed responsibility for the Delaware Chapter of ASPA.
